Police Beat for Friday, May 20th, 2022

A 35-year-old Salem man has been arrested for burglary. Anthony Hardin Junior of North Howard Street was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies.

A 28-year-old Odin man was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for violation of the sex offender registry. Roy Cochran of Franklin Avenue was taken to the Marion County Jail.

41-year-old Neal Durham of Caleb Road in Louisville is being held in lieu of $15,000 bond on a Marion County misdemeanor warrant on a pending resisting arrest charge.

41-year-old Jessie Beer of County Farm Road in Kell was arrested on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant on a petition to revoke his probation on a possession of methamphetamine charge. He remained in custody in lieu of $5,000 bond.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a home in the 1200 block of Byars Road east of Centralia. A wet tile saw, circular saw and a chain hoist were among the items reported missing.

The sheriff’ s department is also investigating a burglary to a construction trailer parked in the 1300 block of Gregg Street outside of Centralia. A number of tools are reported missing.
