Robert Griffin attacks trolls for ‘weird energy’ around Bronny James prom photo

Robert Griffin III isn’t happy over critics’ commentary about LeBron James’ teenage son attending prom last weekend.

On Thursday, Bronny James’ mom Savannah shared photos of her eldest son and his date before they attended prom at Sierra Canyon school in Los Angeles, and RG3 noticed trolls taking issue with Bronny’s date.

“LEAVE THESE KIDS ALONE!” the former NFL quarterback-turned ESPN personality tweeted. “People clowning Bronny for his prom date are just miserable. Let them enjoy their day.”

Griffin later took to Instagram to share a video monologue about the teens, and defended James once again.

“He could take an avatar to prom for all I care,” Griffin said, showing a prom photo of the young couple. “Who he choses, is who he choses. And secondly, it’s giving weird energy that a bunch of grown men and women, 40-year-old men and women, are trying to tell a 17-year-old who they think he should bring to prom.

“This ain’t got nothing to do with LeBron and Savannah not raising Bronny right. The color of the skin of a girl he takes to prom should not matter. Leave these kids alone.”
