Love, Victor‘s Final Season Trailer Reveals Who Opened That Door — But Will a New Crush Complicate Things?
The cliffhanger that closed out Love, Victor‘s second season appears to be resolved in a new trailer for the Hulu rom-com’s upcoming final episodes.
Although the trailer (embedded above) doesn’t actually show the exact moment that Victor arrives at either Benji or Rahim’s front door, it seems Benji is the one Victor has decided to pursue, based on a conversation they’re having in the same attire they wore to Mia’s dad’s wedding in the sophomore finale.
“Are you sure nothing’s going on with you and Rahim?” Benji asks, to which Victor concedes, “There was something between us. I thought we were friends, and things got confused.” But before Benji and Victor can give their relationship another go, Benji decides he must “figure my problems out alone,” which seemingly sets the stage for Victor to develop a crush on new acquaintance Nick.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Felix and Lake awkwardly navigate their post-breakup status while dating new partners Pilar and Lucy, and Mia and Andrew are determined to keep their rekindled relationship afloat after high school.

So, nothing but more love triangles. I’ll pass. I’m actually glad now the show got canceled. It doesn’t need any more seasons since it just wants to be a repetitive soap opera.
And did Victor really need a 3rd love interest? 4th if you count Mia.
So that just forces me to feel like all I would want to see now is Benji to move on and find somebody loyal. Victor should end up single.
Victor and Benji need to have some really good talks and maybe counseling together. I think they love each other but need to learn how to navigate the inevitable bumps in the road. Love the two together.
My biggest gripe with this show is that everyone acts and have problems like they are in their 30s when they are all (supposedly) teenagers. When it was revealed that Benji was a recovering alcoholic I was out.
One of the reasons why I liked Victor with Rahim was that they have a very healthy relationship. They have individual problems but are always helping the other deal with them while also lifting each other up, which was something that Victor couldn’t seem to do with Benji.
If this doesn’t end with Victor choosing discovering who he is, since (let’s remember) he’s a teen, rather than having his entire story be devoted to which boy he wants to revolve his entire life around, I’ll be disappointed. Adding a third guy into the mix? Just stop.
I am glad that the trailer shows Rahim in a more social light – you can find love and a soulmate in friendship, rather than a burns bright and burns out fast relationship. This would be an important type of platonic relationship in itself to see represented on television, especially in a show aimed at younger viewers. Not every perfect person has to become a sexual partner.
It’s such an undoing waste now for me, that I struggle to even care about Victor as the lead of the show anymore, I don’t care about what his choices are, because he’s no prize himself and doesn’t deserve the position. A trailer shouldn’t have made me lose all emotional investment I had for a show’s main character, but that’s all this did. Who could even care about him “choosing himself” at the end, when he’s already used and discarded so many others? What about these other characters that deserve to have their own journeys? What time are we getting for Benji’s point of view, and his development and personal love life? Or Rahim’s? Smh.
