Paige Shedd of Brookhaven, a Copiah-Lincoln Community College student, was recently awarded one of two STEM scholarships from Phi Theta Kappa and Tennessee Valley Authority, a $2,250 award.

The scholarship is awarded to honor society Phi Theta Kappa members in Mississippi who plan to enter fields of science, technology, engineering or math (STEM). Students were selected based on academic achievement, leadership, campus and community service, and faculty assessments.
