GREEN BAY, Wis. — Taylor Schabusiness will stand trial in the death of Shad Thyrion.
A Brown County judge finds Schabusiness is competent to stand trail on charges of First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Mutilation of a Corpse and Third-Degree Sexual Assault.
Those charges are in connection with a violent sexual encounter in which Schabusiness allegedly strangled Thyrion. She then allegedly dismembered his body and hid portions in the basement of his home.
During a competency hearing, psychologist Deborah Collins testified that during her interview with Schabusiness, she saw no signs of psychosis:
Schabusiness is back in court for a preliminary hearing on June 2. She remains jailed on a $2 million cash bond.
