Royal Family news: Disgraced Prince Andrew WILL appear with Queen just a day before being listed with stripped HRH title

PRINCE Andrew is set to make a dramatic return to duties for a key event alongside Her Majesty.

Taking place at Windsor Castle on June 13, the Garter Day ceremony is one of the most important in the Royal Family’s calendar.

The controversial Duke will also will be listed in the next day’s Court Circular.

The Duke will attend the event privately as a Knight.

However, there are fears his presence could overshadow the Queen’s celebration, bringing unwanted controversy to the proceedings. 

A source told The Telegraph that Andrew’s attendance is “standard practice”.

This return will comes just days before the disgraced prince will be listed with a stripped HRH title.

Meg & Harry savaged over rumoured Netflix docuseries

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s reported Netflix documentary series about their life has been savaged by a commentator.

Nile Gardiner, a former aide of Margaret Thatcher has claimed it’s an opportunity for the couple to “exploit” their royal titles.

Gardiner issued a savage takedown of the couple when commenting on this reported series.

He described the show as sounding “awful” and claimed the couple were “exploiting” their tie to the Royal Family.

In a tweet, the foreign policy analyst wrote: “This sounds absolutely awful.

“There is no end to the vanity, hubris, and exploitation of the Royal titles by Meghan/Harry.”

Duke & Duchess to consider staying in England for Lilibet’s christening

Reports from Royal experts have said that the Royal pair could stay in England in order to perform their daughter’s christening ceremony in the presence of her great grandmother, the Queen.

The Duke & Duchess will soon be in the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and some commentators expect them to extend this trip. 

Speaking on the latest episode of Royally Us, hosts Christina Garibaldi and Christine Ross discussed the possibility that Harry and Meghan could “extend” their stay for the special occasion.

Ms Garibaldi said, “maybe Lilibet will have her christening while they are at Windsor during the Platinum Jubilee”.

Ms Ross responded: “It’s such a busy weekend, especially we talked about last week about how members of the Royal Family are going to different, you know, countries within the United Kingdom [for Jubilee celebrations].

Harry and Meghan currently live in an £11m California mansion, but will stay in Frogmore Cottage for Her Majesty’s Jubilee.

Queen reportedly ‘taking it easy’ ahead of Jubilee celebrations

Her Majesty has been told to take things easy ahead the June celebrations.

The 96-year-old Monarch is still said to be struggling with the effects of Covid-19, as she looks to be in top shape for her Platinum Jubilee.

A source close to the Royal family spoke on the Queen’s need to take it easy ahead of June.

The royal insider told US Weekly: “[She] is still adjusting to her routine and charging up her batteries even now.

“The other factor here is that she wanted to be as close to full strength as possible for the Jubilee celebrations, which she’s been looking forward to immensely.

“By not [overexerting] herself it’s giving her more energy to participate in as many of the events as possible.”

Queen & Charles will be horrified by reports of Harry & Meg’s Netflix docu-series (1/2)

THE Queen and Prince Charles will be “horrified” by reports of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new Netflix plans, a royal expert has said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly filming an “at home with the Sussexes”-style docuseries for the streaming giant as part of their multi-million pound deal.

US reports claim the couple have welcomed cameras into their £11million Montecito mansion to film candid content, as the Kardashians did for their fly-on-the-wall show.

But it’s unclear whether the Royal Family were briefed on the move, revealed just weeks before the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Royal biographer Angela Levin said a fly-on-the-wall series would be hypocritical after Prince Harry moaned royal life was similar to living in a zoo.

She also believes the series would come as another blow to the royals – and could “steal the enjoyment from the Queen” during her Platinum Jubilee.

Royal trio to stand in for the Queen at Trooping of the Colour

It is believed the following Royals will help the Queen during her Platinum Jubilee.

The Queen is likely to have appointed son Prince Charles, daughter the Princess Royal and grandson Prince William to stand in for her for the Trooping of the Colour.

Her Royal Highnesses own soldiers, the Horse Guards will put on an astounding display to honour her 70 years of reign.

They may take the Royal salute in place for the Queen who has recently had issues with her mobility.

Surprisingly he is a dab hand at whipping up a BBQ.

The baking legend told listeners at the BFI Radio Times Festival how she joined the Royals for tea once, and spent time chatting with Prince William.

She said: “He really knew what he was talking about,” as she explained how William spoke of stuffing game and was always the barbeque chef at Sandringham.

On the last day of their three day tour, they headed to Yellowknife.

The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall met with leaders and community members. They were gifted with special hand made snowshoes and Charles was blown away by the detail.

They also got stuck in with a drum dance at the Council Chambers.

Visit Windsor Castle to celebrate the Queen’s jubilee

What better place to celebrate the Jubilee than the Queen’s own home!

Windsor castle, the oldest occupied castle in the world, is currently open for visits, offering tours and activities for children.

Entry costs £26.50 for adults, £17.50 for 18-24 year olds, kids are £14.70 and under-5s go free (Rct.uk/visit/windsor-castle).

You can even stay overnight in the one of the castle’s luxurious rooms. A nights sleep fit for a queen!

It is thought they might attend the St Paul’s Cathedral service.

The service will take place on Friday 3 June.

The Platinum Jubilee dessert: Brits unimpressed

This year's winning pudding was the Jubilee Lemon Trifle, but it has received some mixed opinions.

It is a lemon swiss roll style trifle designed by Jemma Melvin, and it won the competition held by Fortnum & Mason.

Some Brits were shocked by the winning dessert and took to Twitter to complain about the long ingredient list and tricky method.

One wrote: "Fortnum&Mason held contest for platinum jubilee dessert 'simple enough for home bakers'. The winner required making lemon curd, lemon/orange jelly, amaretti, mandarin coulis, custard, chocolate bark, swiss rolls from scratch. Um."

Another said: "I have read the platinum jubilee pudding now, and now understand the tweets about shortages of tinned mandarins, but I have to say I don't really fancy it..."

A third added: "I tried to make the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee pudding and hope I never see another trifle as long as I live."
