Princess Beatrice will be attending one of the events that her grandmother Queen Elizabeth loves. However, Her Majesty, herself, is not on the official guest list.

Princess Beatrice And Other Royals To Attend The Chelsea Flower Show

One of Prince Andrew's daughters will be joining Sophie, Countess of Wessex, at the Chelsea Flower Show. Princess Beatrice's attendance at the annual event was already confirmed, Express reported.

Princess Beatrice, Sophie, and her husband, Prince Edward, will also be joined by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. However, Queen Elizabeth was not included in Buckingham Palace's announcement of the attendees. However, even if Her Majesty is not on the official guest list, she is reportedly hoping to attend despite her mobility issues.

The outlet noted that the Queen would decide on the day whether she will join the other royals at the event or just stay home, depending on her condition.

The royal family will greet the President of the Royal Horticultural Society, Keith Weed, before touring the gardens. There is also a special garden for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, which features laser-cut steel silhouettes of Her Majesty. It will be surrounded by 70 planted terracotta pots that represent each year of the Queen's reign.

Princess Beatrice And The Wessexes On Making Royal Engagements

Princess Beatrice, 33, is the oldest daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. She's also the older sister of Princess Eugenie, 31.

The outlet noted that even if both Princesses of York are private citizens and have their own careers, they still support the monarchy and attend royal events.

"They only perform a very few royal duties," royal expert and commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk. "However, any expansion of their roles, which was a possibility as there are fewer senior royals and many of them are no longer young, is now impossible for the foreseeable future."
