Are the Kansas City Chiefs being disrespected by media/fans this offseason? Matt Verderame and Patrick Allen discuss in this episode.

The Kansas City Chiefs have entered the long dark offseason and it seems to have taken their reputation with them.

In some ways, it’s understandable why some NFL analysts and even fans are believing that the going might be tougher for the Chiefs this upcoming season due to changes on the roster. The Chiefs are younger and far less experienced, which means a growth curve is ahead. It also means the team is depending on unproven players (or new faces) in key places.

It doesn’t help that the AFC West is so improved. Davante Adams, Chandler Jones, Khalil Mack, J.C. Jackson, Russell Wilson, Randy Gregory, and others are all members of the division—a major shift in the quality of pass rushers and quarterbacks from only a year ago. Each of those teams also faces the Chiefs twice each season.

On this latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, Matt Verderame and Patrick Allen as they discuss their offseason AFC West Power Rankings, the state of the Chiefs’ pass rush and so much more.
