The Pike County School Corporation and the Daviess County YMCA have partnered to bring a new afterschool program to families in Pike County.
Not many details have been announced just yet, but the program is set to start in August during the 2022-2023 school year.
The program will run until 6:00 pm and participating students will be bused to Pike County Elementary School upon school dismissal.
The cost is $42 per week per child.
The after-school program will feature homework assistance, healthy snacks, character development, outdoor play, and social awareness.
Officials say more information will be released as details are finalized.
