BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —

UPDATE (8:15 p.m.)

Forward progress of the 2-alarm fire in Rosamond has been stopped at about 60 acres, according to KCFD.

Crews will remain at the fire for the next several hours to contain it.

A second-alarm fire is Rosamond was reported by the Kern County Fire Department around 5 p.m.

Buildings and vehicles are on fire in the area of Harvell and 20th streets, according to KCFD.

Kern County Fire Department is at the fire. Los Angeles Fire Department is assisting.

A Hall ambulance was notified, according to Pulse Point. Any injuries are unknown at this time.
