Lake View's Wagner named Catcher of the Year again on 3-4A Softball Team

Lake View High School senior catcher Mikaila Wagner earned Catcher of the Year honors for the second-straight year on the District 3-4A Softball Team that was released recently.

Maidens senior Taylor Martinez and sophomore Skylar Lacy earned second-team honors.

Three Lake View players received honorable mentions -- senior Alba Rangel, and sophomores Ava Velez and Reagan Reeves.

Lake View finished 7-22-1 overall and 1-9 in district.

Big Spring senior Brinly Watkins was selected as the district MVP.

Snyder junior Mya Braziel was named Offensive MVP, and Sweetwater junior Bethanee Rodriguez earned Defensive MVP honors.

Pitcher of the Year honors went to Snyder sophomore Ava Aviles.

 The Newcomer of the Year is Levelland freshman Aubriana Rivas, and Big Spring junior Ellianna Perez was named Utiility Player of the Year.
