It's been a wild day for the College Football world as the NIL deals have become a controversial topic for the entire nation. Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban has been rather vocal about the ordeal. So much so, that he called out Jimbo Fisher and Deion Sanders for how they acquire talent for their teams.
According to Adam Rittenberg, Saban began his radio interview apologetically. He wants it known he made a mistake in singling Fisher and Sanders out when complaining about the NCAA Football NIL rules. Perhaps, the Crimson Tide head coach learned a thing or two on Thursday.

Even so, Nick Saban did not receive a response from either Jimbo Fisher or Deion Sanders, per Adam Rittenberg. The Crimson Tide legend claims he feels bad about singling them out. Even so, Saban sticks to his guns regarding his philosophy as he continues to question the integrity of the new NIL rules in place.

Nick Saban dives into his original point as he blames the system the NCCA has created. The NIL deals allow college athletes to receive payment while playing in school. Some of these contracts are large money deals, as boosters are stepping in and helping reel in high school recruits. It's been a wild turn of events for the College Football world and the Crimson Tide coach is getting tired of it.
Saban says he wasn't insinuating anyone did anything illegal. "That was something assumed by what I said." Adds that the system allows teams to operate this way.

Although Saban continues to rant about the NIL deals, the current rules are in place. No college program is cheating at all. In fact, it's made the recruiting field a bit more equal as it allows the smaller schools to lure big-name prospects to their sports teams. We'll see how this all plays out, but maybe it's time Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide start playing the NIL game as well.
