VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) selected Rich Schueneman as Civil Servant of the Year in the leadership category.

On Wednesday, May 18th, USACE, St. Paul District commander Col. Karl Jansen presented the award to Schueneman. Jansen said Schueneman was nominated due to his outstanding service to the Corps of Engineers, their customers and his community.

Rich Schueneman is the North Dakota Flood Control Project Section Supervisor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and manages Baldhill dam northwest of Valley City.

Col. Jansen said Schueneman’s long-standing expertise, creativity, unwavering dedication, behind the scenes contributions and trustworthy service have resulted in a level of success across the board that exceeds expectations.
