The Philadelphia Eagles are not satisfied with barely making last season’s playoffs.

They clinched the final spot in the NFC postseason with a 9-8 record and won three of their last four games.

This year, they want to become a legitimate contender and it showed with their offseason moves.

Philadelphia brought in linebacker Kyzir White and wide receiver Zach Pascal on one-year, $5 million deals.

They also traded for Pro Bowl wideout A.J. Brown and gave him a four-year, $100 million contract.

The Eagles also acquired cornerback James Bradberry on a one-year, $10 million deal.

Jordan Davis, Cam Jurgens, and Nakobe Dean will be their top rookies in 2022.

Combining those players with Jalen Hurts, Miles Sanders, DeVonta Smith, Javon Hargrave, and Darius Slay gives the Eagles a formidable roster.

It’s a fact that Haason Reddick also noticed by tweeting, “We just keep getting better #FlyEaglesFly.”

Reddick was also brought in to the Eagles on a three-year, $45 million contract.

Last season, he played for the Carolina Panthers and had 11 sacks and 68 total tackles.

The year before, he suited up for the Arizona Cardinals and finished with 12.5 sacks and 62 tackles.

He will help upgrade the Eagles’ pass rush which generated only 29 sacks, second-worst in 2021.

Eagles Have A Shot Of Winning The NFC East

The Dallas Cowboys will have something to say with that claim, but the Eagles have a roster that should clinch the playoffs at a higher seed.

Dallas still has CeeDee Lamb but lost Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson in their receiving corps.

The effect of those departures is yet to be seen, but Philadelphia has a more dynamic rotation with Smith, Brown, and Quez Watkins.

That advantage alone could get the Eagles over the Cowboys for the division title.
