Roy Rogers restaurant planned to open in Cleves this winter
A historic, western-themed fast-food chain is coming to Greater Cincinnati.
Restaurant group One Holland Corp. announced the first Roy Rogers restaurant will open its first location in Cleves.
The location is part of the 10 new Roy Rogers locations the group plans to open in the region over the next six years.
“Cleves is the perfect place for our first Roy Rogers location, as we already have a good relationship with the city and many fantastic employees,” Gary Holland, One Holland Corp. restaurant group CEO and founder said in a statement. “Residents have continued to share their excitement since our initial announcement, so we are working diligently to bring Roy’s famous burgers, beef and chicken to our community.”
The restaurant is expected to open this winter next to the Cleves Skyline Chili and directly in front of Taylor High School.
The 3,400 square-foot building will include a drive-thru and outdoor patio.
“We are encouraged by the enthusiasm of Cleves’ residents and the decades of success multi-unit operator Gary Holland brings to the table,” Jim Plamondon, co-president of Roy Rogers Franchise Company said in a statement. “This highly anticipated new location is a celebration of our historic restaurant as we reflect on over 50 years of bringing quality, variety and choice to our loyal customers. Be sure to stay tuned for details regarding the grand opening.”
One Holland Corp. plans to bring more Roy Roger’s locations to Hamilton, Butler, and Clermont counties in Southwest Ohio, Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties in northern Kentucky, and Dearborn County in southeast Indiana.
