We’re in the period between the NFL draft and Organized Team Activities so shows like “Good Morning Football” need to come up with content constantly, even when there isn’t much going on.
The other day on the NFL Network program, the crew answered the question, whose career would you rather have, Ben Roethlisberger or Aaron Rodgers.
Somewhat surprisingly, the four hosts of GMFB was split.
Jane Slater and Kyle Brandt picked Rodgers and Michael Robinson and Peter Schrager picked Roethlisberger.
While Rodgers is still playing, right now, it a choice of whether you prefer Super Bowls over person accomplishments, with Roethlisberger having two and Rodgers one (which he won by beating Big Ben).
Of course Rodgers could still win a championship, and that would change the conversation.
Roethlisberger is known more for his 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives, while Rodgers has been to 10 Pro Bowls (compared to Ben’s six), four First Team All-Pros and four MVPs. Roethlisberger has zero.
Listen below as The PM Team discuss why Rodgers is better and why Chris Mueller things that Roethlisberger would rather have three MVPs compared to his Super Bowl Championships.
