A man was indicted by a Randall County Grand Jury for online solicitation of a minor after he was initially arrested during a February sting.

The indictment states that Conner Shane Mylander knowingly tried to solicit sexual activity with an individual younger than 17-years-old on or about Feb. 17.

Mylander was arrested along with four others during a Texas Department of Public Safety operation targeting individuals soliciting minors online.

Another Amarillo man was arrested during the sting for possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

The agencies that participated in the operation included DPS, The Amarillo Office of the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Marshal's Service and the West Texas A&M Police Department.
