Gene Leahy Mall at the Riverfront's grand opening celebration will feature a live concert by country music star Brett Eldredge.Eldredge will be joined by "American Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina on July 2 at 8 p.m., during the second night of a four-day celebration.The concert will be free and the public can bring blankets or portable lawn chairs, but staking items and plastic tarps are prohibited. The park opens daily at 5 a.m.The park's reopening event will begin July 1 as part of a weekend full of activities.More headlines
