THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED BUT I THINK HEY GOT MOST OF THAT CLEANED UP. WE ARE STILL SEEING SOME TRASH THIS MORNING, WHICH I AM SURE IS A SIMILAR SITE ACROSS THE WESTERN PORTION OFHE T STATE WHERE THINGS BLEW AROUND LAST NIGHT. Strong winds ripped through parts of Oklahoma late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.KOCO 5 meteorologist Taylor Cox was in Waukomis on Thursday morning, where the overnight storms hit hard.The fire department was called to a Dollar General after receiving reports of damage. Authorities said debris had blown onto the highway.KOCO 5 First Alert field meteorologist Michael Armstrong was in Seiling when the power went out."It's pretty intense," Armstrong said while storm chasing. "I mean, we are sitting still, and Storm Command is just getting rocked back and forth. A lot of stuff is flying by."An 80 mph wind gust was reported in Carmago, causing many to lose power. A 68 mph wind gust also was recorded in Hinton.
