Emmerdale's Amelia Spencer makes a worrying decision

Emmerdale's Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) has become increasingly interested in online influencers in recent episodes, and she has been trying to emulate them on her own social media.

However, upcoming episodes will see Amelia's confidence continue to dwindle the more she becomes consumed by social media, and starts feeling even more insecure about her appearance and body image.

Feeling inspired by an influencer who had managed to bag a deal with a sports brand, Amelia recently decided to post some pictures to her own feed, using filters and editing apps to alter her looks.

A few weeks ago, Kerry (Laura Norton) had teased Amelia for using filters on one of her photos. However, an unknown, anonymous troll leaves a nasty comment on one of Amelia's recent photos.

Amelia is left feeling humiliated by the comment, so Samson tries to reassure her. But will this be enough?

Later, a concerned Cathy spots Amelia with a suspicious-looking bottle and decides to google it – but she only seems to come across some fairly innocent ads.

Amelia tries to distract Cathy, knowing that the supplements that she's bought are bad for her. Is this the beginning of a very worrying path for Amelia?

Other storylines in Emmerdale next week include David proposing to Victoria when he is heartened by her words about their relationship.

He hurries away to buy the perfect ring, meanwhile Vic and Amy joke about why David wants to meet for an important chat.

Bursting with excitement, David arranges a romantic surprise in the woods, but when he gets down on one knee, Victoria is speechless. Will she say yes?
