Seniors at Houston High School celebrated their graduation on May 13 at Bellevue Baptist Church.

• 11 National Merit Finalists
• 1 Presidential Scholar
• 226 Different Colleges Accepting HHS students
• 7 perfect ACT scores
• 103 ACT scores over 30
More than any previous class, the Class of 2022 has “intentionally found ways to build community among their cohort–from developing a virtual peer tutoring program last year to the newly added senior sunrise and sunset — they have looked for ways to support each other and soak up senior year together.”
Students like Jacob Ward, who attended nearly every school event, or both Anjali Chheda and Priyanka Phaniraj, who spent their after school free time tutoring and checking in on virtual students, were celebrated on Friday night. Sydney Dacus also worked to make sure that anyone who needed a prom date found one.
