The E-gals tennis team was clicking on all cylinders on Wednesday, coming up just shy of a sweep of its matches with Ohio County at a score of 8-1.
Emma Parker and Kaelin Payne led the way in singles for Apollo, as they both got 8-1 wins. Ella Hayden, Emmie Kate Williams and Maddie Jones followed, winning 8-2, 8-3 and 8-3 respectively.
Apollo pulled off the sweep in its doubles matches, as the duos of Vidhi Patel/Lucy Waldschmidt (8-1), Ella Hayden/Kyndall Hayden (8-5) and Sophey Jennings/Elise Wilson (8-5) all got wins to round out the day.
