BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Pete Graff, a candidate for the 2nd District Kern County Supervisor race was a police officer for the Tehachapi Police Department for nearly 10 years.
He ran a security business in Mojave, Lancaster and Bakersfield for 11 years. He says he was wrongfully terminated by the Tehachapi Police Department in 2016 and is now suing the city. Graff wants to take his experience has a police officer and businessman to help the second district.
“With the business perspective coming in, pushing forward, to make it a revenue type atmosphere, that’s how I plan to attack it," Graff, said.
“What I’m suing for currently is the due process, which I was entitled to as an employee," Graff, said.
Graff says has an attorney and received an appointment by a judge for the lawsuit against Tehachapi. He says he wants to stop water companies like those in boron, from giving arsenic laced water to people.
