Luka Doncic did not have his dream start in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. The Dallas Mavericks frontman had arguably the worst game of his postseason career. But Jason Kidd is the furthest thing from worried.
The Golden State Warriors hounded Doncic not only with a rotating cast of defenders, but also various coverages to keep him unsettled. Jason kidd spoke out on the Mavs star's struggles after the game with a clear message: it's not going to last.

Luka Doncic looked poised to have another big game after the first two quarters. He finished with 18 points, four rebounds, and two assists with the Mavs still within striking distance down 54-45 at halftime.
But the Warriors limited him to just two points the rest of the way, with three times as many turnovers as points scored:

Doncic echoed the same sentiments as his Mavs coach. He knows that his tough Game 1 is a chance for him to come back stronger the rest of the series:
