The Golden State Warriors may have beaten the Dallas Mavericks and forced Luka Doncic to the worst playoff game of his career, but Steve Kerr doesn't want his team to be overconfident and too complacent.

Stephen Curry and co. handed the Mavs a 112-87 blowout in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, with their defense playing a key role in the victory. Dallas shot 11-of-48 from the 3-point arc, and more important, their superstar in Doncic struggled mightily and ended up with just 20 points while committing seven turnovers.

Despite the great job they did in limiting Luka, however, Kerr warned the Warriors that it is just one game. The veteran coach then admitted that they haven't really figured out everything yet when it comes to slowing down the Slovenian superstar.

“One game we did an excellent job defensively, but we are under no illusion that we've figured anything out,” Kerr shared, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

True enough, the Warriors cannot celebrate just yet. It is just the first game, and considering what the Mavs have done so far to reach the West Finals, the series could be a long one.

It is also unlikely that Luka Doncic will be limited to scoring 20 points throughout. He has proven his ability to adjust when the going gets tough, and everyone expects him to have a better display come Game 2.
