Motorcyclist hurt in Downtown Syracuse crash

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) –A 28-year-old motorcyclist was hurt after crash near Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse Wednesday night.

Syracuse police tell NewsChannel 9 the motorcyclist was northbound on North Salina Street when a car traveling southbound made a left hand turn into the path of the cyclist.

The woman was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered multiple injuries. She was taken to University Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries and is expected to recover.

The investigation into the crash continues. Any witnesses are ask to call the Syracuse Police Department Traffic Division at 315-442-5130.
