Age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Oak Ridge, TN. He was born November 25, 1931, in York, NE, to the late Jesse E. Bradshaw and Lenore Bradshaw.

Jesse Earl Bradshaw Jr.
Age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Oak Ridge, TN. He was born November 25, 1931, in York, NE, to the late Jesse E. Bradshaw and Lenore Bradshaw.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Geraldine Bradshaw of 60 years. His loving son David Bradshaw, and granddaughter Zoe Bradshaw, son Ted Martin, daughter-in-law Brenda Martin, and grandkids Missy and Scott Lane, Darryl and Angel Aslinger, Kim and Randy West and Michael Aslinger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
During his life, Jesse proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1950 to 1954. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1958 from Midland College in Freemont, NE, and received a Masters of Divinity in 1963 from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. He served the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Redfield/Stuart, IA 1958-62, 1965-69; David City, NE 1962-65; Memphis, TN 1969-76; Livingston, TN 1976-87; Oak Ridge, TN 1987-96; as well as interims at Cookeville, TN, Crossville, TN, Millers Chapel, TN, Hatcher Hall, TN and Knoxville, TN.
Upon retirement Jesse continued to serve as a substitute teacher and as a volunteer at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. At his final residence, The Groves of Oak Ridge Assisted Living Facility, Jesse continued to perform bible studies and worship services.
Jesse enjoyed Oak Ridge High School Football, Smokies Baseball, the Oak Ridge Playhouse and was a rabid Nebraska Cornhusker Football fan.
Visitation will be at 1:00 PM EST, followed by a service at 2:00 PM EST, Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 100 Gum Hollow Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
