Police Dept. Report
Theft—At approximately 9:20 p.m. Friday, May 13, officers responded to a report of a theft in the 400 block of East Seventh Street. Jason Jones reported the theft of property from that location, totaling under $1,000 in loss. This incident is under investigation.
Accidents—At approximately 1:23 p.m. Saturday, May 14, officers responded to a non-injury accident in the 1000 block of Lincoln Street. Stella Santiago, Fairbury, Neb., struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Athina Liby, Concordia, causing over $1,000 in damage. This incident is under investigation.
At approximately 2:02 p.m. Sunday, May 15, officers responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 1700 block of East Sixth Street. A vehicle driven by Carol Stringer, Concordia, was truck by an unknown vehicle at that location, causing over $1,000 in damage. This incident is under investigation.
Arrest—At approximately 2:46 p.m. Monday, May 16, officers responded to a report of a domestic incident in the 600 block of West Seventh Street. Upon further investigation, officers arrested Blaine Thurston, Concordia, on charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Thurston was transported to Cloud County Corrections.
At approximately 5:16 p.m. Monday, May 16, officers responded to Wal-Mart for a report of a theft. Cited--Upon further investigation, officers cited Frances Jamison, Concordia, for theft. Jamison was released from the scene.
