Casualty spoilers follow.

Casualty will air scenes this weekend revealing the secret that new doctor Paige Allcott has been hiding for a while.

The BBC medical drama will see Paige (Shalisha James-Davis) get closer to Rash Masum (Neet Mohan) after he comforts her in the staff room following a rough day.

Rash will ask her out for drinks, but a flattered Paige tells him she can't say yes right now, clearly hinting at something being off.

When an agitated Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) hands Keidi's sister Elvira over to Rash and Paige in the resuscitation area, the woman starts arresting. While Rash is on form, Paige stumbles through.

Afterwards, the new doctor cries in the toilets. When Rash finds her in the staff room, he does his best to comfort her. His nice, caring attitude prompts Paige to open up to him and reveal what she's been struggling with.

She tells him that she's been having a hard time since her mother died. Rash tells her that Dylan Keogh (William Beck) would give her time off should she need it, but Paige doesn't want to be on her own.

In another scene, Rash is stabbed by Ciprian, with Paige taking care of him and stitching his neck.

She thanks him for risking his life for her, leading to a tender moment. Outside the ED at the end of the day, Paige and Rash kiss. Will that lead to more?

These scenes air on Saturday, May 21 on BBC One.

Casualty airs on Saturdays on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
