Rafert account set up at credit union

An account for Lenny and Peggy Rafert has been set up at the Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union for anyone wanting to help defray expenses after Lenny’s accident.

Aging and cognition class offered Tuesdays

Speech therapist Troy McCulley is teaching a free class called “Aging and Cognition: What’s Normal and What’s Not” on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. at Sunset View. Everyone is welcome, and no registration is required.

Sports physicals offered

Any students who are needing to have a physical to play sports in the fall should mark their calendars with special dates at Family Practice of Holyoke, 1001 E. Johnson St.

Physicals will be offered Tuesday, May 31, from 1-3 p.m. and Wednesday, June 1, from 1-3 p.m.

Sports physicals are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parents have to accompany minors or sign a consent-to-treat form prior to the sports physical. Verbal authorization is also accepted.

Preschool now taking registrations for 2022-23 school year

Kids who are 3, 4 and 5 years old who will not be entering kindergarten in the fall can sign up for Dragon’s Wagon Preschool for the 2022-23 school year.

Everyone needs to register, even if they have attended preschool in the past.

A form is available in this edition of the Enterprise, or information can be obtained by calling Marcia Walter, director, at 970-854-2999 or 970-854-2296. Once registered, a detailed form will be mailed to families.
