Red Sox to hold Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Fenway Park for former slugger David Ortiz

BOSTON — A Hall of Fame induction ceremony for David Ortiz will be held at Fenway Park next week, the Red Sox announced Wednesday.

The prolific slugger will be in attendance for the presentation of the “Fenway Honors” awards on May 26 at 6:30 p.m., according to the ballclub.

In addition to Ortiz, other Red Sox Hall of Fame inductees include former players Manny Ramirez, Rich Gedman, and the late Bill Dinneen. Former Red Sox General Manager Dan Duquette will also be honored.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Red Sox Foundation

Tickets for the event start at $20 are available in select seating areas including the Grandstand, Loge Box, Field Box, and Dell Technologies Club. They can be purchased by clicking here.
