Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Will Taylor made a drastic new plan to find Jamie Tate in Wednesday's (May 18) episode. As viewers know (as well as Will, Dawn Taylor and Gabby Thomas), Jamie is still alive and out there somewhere in the wake of that car crash back in September.
However, the group has decided to keep the revelation that he's still living and breathing from his mum Kim Tate, who thinks her son died in the accident.
That's turned out to be a bit of a struggle for Will though, as he's found it pretty tough to keep his lips sealed around his fiancée, Kim. Will has been noticeably antsy since he found out the big news and Kim noticed that he hasn't been sleeping well. As a result, Will tried to cover up his anxiety by making out that he's actually been stressed out after spotting Sam Dingle poaching on Home Farm grounds.

Of course, it goes much deeper than that, and Kim later opened up to Will about how much she'd been thinking about her son recently and how things broke down between them because of a lack of communication.
"What I went through with him. It practically destroyed me," she told Will. "Everything that happened from the moment he came back here to him dying in the car accident. I almost lost it. It took me closer to the edge than I've ever been and I never want to feel like that again," she added.
After learning just how badly Jamie affected his mum, Will decided to take matters into his own hands. He told Harriet (who recently made a big discovery that Jamie may still be alive) that he didn't think it would be a good idea to go looking for Jamie, admitting it wasn't "worth rocking the boat" by attempting to get him back home.

But Will was secretly brewing a plan. Kim's fiancé decided to meet with a dodgy man he knows from prison, telling him he wanted him to track down Jamie. But don't think Will wants to welcome him back to Home Farm with open arms.
"I want someone found. Trouble is, that person wants everyone to think that he's dead," Will told his old mate from behind bars, revealing that his plan was to make sure once he's found that Jamie stays away from The Dales forever.
His mate then shared that he could make Jamie "disappear", to which Will responded: "I just need to know where he is. Because when I do, I can make sure he never shows his face around here ever again."
Will he be able to find the elusive son of his wife-to-be and convince him to stay hidden?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
