Disappointed but hardly surprising given Anton’s positive reception. Happy for Anton but I can’t help feeling disappointed for Bruno given the circumstances (pandemic-related absences for the last two series and travel bans); I thought him being on the tour would be a way to ease in his grand return. Looks like his 2019 singing at the top of the show was actually a send-off for him.

Anton has been a breath of fresh air to the judging panel and has been doing a fantastic job dovetailing my favourite judge Craig. I would have been very disappointed if Anton had got the boot to make way for Bruno’s return.
Nah, I don’t think I will miss him.
I liked him early on, but his last few years on Strictly weren’t his best moment.
Sadly he became too predictable in his delivery and actions.
What they get up to in private should be none of our concern. I've also never heard it called that...
Me neither 😂😂😂
BIB-is he though? With DWTS moving off ABC and onto streaming this season and next and a new EP at the controls, I gotta think there is gonna be some sort of shakeup in the judges' panel, and already one (non-Bruno) judge has confirmed they're gonna be back. (With the Disney/ABC upfronts being yesterday I was hoping we'd hear some news about that but...nothing) Unless what can be inferred from this (if it's even true, given the source) is that even if it's not "official" yet, is that he's definitely gonna be back on the judges panel here for the next season? 🤷♀️ Who even knows. Well whatever happens here, I do think Anton is a better fit for your panel than Bruno so guess it all worked out...yay for that?
Bruno was never quite the same without the Craig-Darcey-Len combination which worked so well. Anton works much better with the Craig-Motsi-Shirley combination.
On one hand, I think it's a shame that his run ended so suddenly after over 15 years of it, he was expecting to come back in 2020 and never did. Not even a farewell season or anything. On the other hand, the show has to move forward and Anton both proved to be a good judge and it meant that the show could finally move him off the pro roster without upsetting long term fans. So it was the right decision. And you have to consider the balance of personalities on the panel as well - Bruno fit well in the Craig-Arlene-Len panel and the Craig-Darcey-Len panel, far less so in the Craig-Motsi-Shirley panel.
I agree that the balance makes more sense with Anton on the panel, and it’s nice that there’s new pros getting the spotlight now.

This should be an interesting interview as I agree with the general consensus, rather than quitting, the producers have made an executive decision to keep Anton based on the fan reaction to him. I thought he was a very good judge and was a breath of fresh air on the panel so I'm quite pleased he's staying.
Craig said sitting next to Motsi was like sitting next to Bruno one week but yeah no presenter mentioned it.
