Marnie Schulenburg, As the World Turns and One Life to Live Actor, Dies at 37

Schulenburg passed away Tuesday after a battle with breast cancer.

    Marnie Schulenburg, who played Alison Stewart in CBS' As the World Turns and Jo Sullivan in the 2013 One Life to Live reboot, has died at the age of 37 after a battle with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Schulenburg passed away Tuesday at a hospital in Bloomfield, New Jersey, her representative told The Hollywood Reporter.

    Schulenburg made her first appearance in The Young and the Restless in 2007 and continued in the role until the show's cancellation in 2010. That year, she received a Daytime Emmy nomination for her performance. Schulenburg then joined the cast of One Life to Live in 2013, when the ABC soap was rebooted as a web series.

    Beyond her soap opera work, Schulenburg guest starred in Blue Bloods, Royal Pains, and The Good Fight. She can also be see in the upcoming season of Showtime's City on a Hill, which premieres in July.

    Schulenburg is survived by her husband, actor Zack Robidas, and their two-year-old daughter Coda.
