Heather Christine Rohde, 34, of Dekalb, IL passed away unexpectedly on May 14th, 2022. Heather was born on December 23rd,1987 in Berwyn, IL. The daughter of Donna Jean (Adamcyk) Rohde and Jason Rohde. Heather’s greatest and proudest accomplishment was her son, Lorenzo. She loved him dearly, and he was the center of her world. Heather completed her GED in 2011. She always put other people before herself. She even became the Plano, Illinois hometown hero for risking her life to save a drowning boy in 2015 from a pond. She had an empathic heart and was passionate for other people in maintaining sobriety. She enjoyed being a “foodi” with her partner, Aaron, and trying different cuisines and recipes. She loved nature walks and the scenery, as this helped with her creativity to show her art to the world. She loved the Chicago Bears, and her favorite holiday was Halloween.  With her beautiful smile, warm personality and contagious laugh, she could light up a room just by walking into it. Heather was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend to many.

Heather is survived by her son Lorenzo (6); Mother, Donna Rohde; Sisters (2); Jessica Hejl (Ayvah, Elijah); Angelica Sakota (Isaiah); Her Nonno (Vittorio Paolinelli); Uncles; Donald (Kathy) Lorenzini, Joey (Amanda) Paolinelli, Giovanni Paolinelli. Many Cousins and Great Cousins and extended family and friends that loved her.  She also is survived by her partner, Aaron Williams.

Heather was preceded in death by her father, Jason Rohde; her Nonna, Gloria Paolinelli; Great-Grandmother, Adriana Bartolomei.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, Illinois 60548. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 P.M. Cremation rites will be accorded. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
