Scotland County primary election results released

SCOTLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) —
The North Carolina State Board of Elections (NCSBE) has released results from votes cast in primary races Tuesday in Scotland County.

The NCSBE said 15% of 20, 508 registered voters cast ballots in the election for a total of 3,175 votes.
The NCSBE released the following results:
Scotland Board of Commissioners Stewartsville (Vote 2)
- Darwin "Duke" Williams 1,784 votes with 47.18%
- Tracey Dockery Williams 1,083 votes with 28.64%
- Carol McCall 914 vote with 24.17%
Scotland City Clerk of Court
- W.Phillip McRae 1,829 votes with 78.80%
- Scott Sellers with 492 votes with 21.20%
City of Laurinburg City Council At Large
- Barbara Chanei Rogers 940 votes with 56.52%
- James Garby 714 votes with 42.93%
City of Laurinburg District 1
- Mary Evans 564 votes with 73.15%
- James F. Thomas, Sr. 207 votes with 26.85%
Laurinburg City District 2
- Drew Williams 785 votes with 78.97%
- Donald Anderson, Jr. 204 votes with 20.52%
Laurinburg City District 1
