Owner of stolen vehicle offering $5,000 reward

The owner of a vehicle stolen Tuesday in the City of Cotter has offered a reward of $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect according to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery.

The Cotter Police Department took a report from the area of North Section Line Road at approximately 10:45 Tuesday morning of a 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck, dark grey in color and having a value of approximately $25,000, being stolen from a work site there. A resident in the area described the suspect as a white male, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall, wearing a black shirt and a black ball cap. At the time of the theft, the truck was bearing Arkansas License Plate No. 777VPP.
