Pennsylvania State Police are looking for two men who broke into an elderly Dauphin County couple’s home overnight Wednesday and stole roughly $22,000.

A 94-year-old woman awoke around 2:11 a.m. in her South Hanover Township home to a man holding her down in bed and asking, “where’s the money?” She gave him a green purse that held her Social Security card and about $20,000, state police said.

The woman’s 96-year-old husband had an additional $2,000 stolen during the break-in, according to state police.

State police said the woman told them the burglars were dressed in all black and wore face coverings.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477), or submit a tip online.
