SPRINGFIELD, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A 40-year-old Springfield man was taken into custody on multiple warrants Tuesday night after the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says he tried to hide in the false wall of a residence.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assigned to the City of Springfield were dispatched to the 1000 Block of Harmonia Road for a check subject complaint just after 9:30 p.m..
Deputies had information that a tenant of the residence was wanted on numerous warrants.
After finding the man, deputies located a stolen motorcycle in the front yard and two cut catalytic converters,
They also found and seized suspected Methamphetamine.
The suspect was arrested for his warrants as well as for Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property and Resisting Arrest.
The suspected methamphetamine will be sent to a Laboratory for analysis.
