We are grateful for our colleagues who are dedicated to putting our patients first. Recently Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, and all 13 hospitals in the HCA Virginia System, earned the top grade from The Leapfrog Group, we received an “A”. This is a really big deal, as Spotsylvania Regional is the only hospital in the Fredericksburg Region awarded this grade for meeting some of the industry’s highest patient safety standards.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program based exclusively on hospital prevention of medical errors and harms to patients. The grading system is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the fall and spring.
Today, we are celebrating our team of healthcare colleagues, who have worked hard through a pandemic 24/7 for this outstanding achievement. We are also thankful to our community for the opportunity to serve.
