Lincoln Crime Stoppers: LPD needs help apprehending 2 autos
This week's two cases are tied by a common thread: blue cars.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department is dealing with a pair of cases, unrelated, that involve blue vehicles.
Police need help finding the truck involved in a hit-and-run on May 11 in front of the Lancaster County Courthouse.
When one car stopped for a construction worker in the road, the truck in question didn’t stop. In fact, the truck hit the car, and then turned down Centennial Mall, driving the wrong way.
Police are looking for what they believe to be a blue 2007-13 Toyota Tundra. The truck had a black hood and bed cover, black wheels, a trailer hitch, and in-transit tags.
On Feb. 9, police got a report from First Evangelical Free Church at 3300 S. 84th St. that someone had been drifting in the parking lot. The suspect left behind quite a bit of rubber, with the cleanup cost estimated around $1,500. This car is a blue Dodge Charger SRT.
