The new Columbus bar and speakeasy Sotto Terra has only been open for several months, but the new concept is already making a name for itself with a host of unique nightlife events.

And next up is Dolly Parton look-a-like contest.

“We wanted to do something fresh and exciting to celebrate Pride weekend,” said Keith Michael, owner of Sotto Terra in a press release. “Celebrating Dolly Parton seemed like a fun way to showcase some of the amazingly talented and creative people in our city! We can’t wait to see what looks & tricks they turn out for this!”

The event, which will be held on June 16 at 7 p.m., will see participants judged in three different categories: Evening Gown, Beach Attire and Talent. Finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges before competing for the grand prize with a lip-synced performance of a Dolly Patron song.

Admission for the event is free, but reservations are recommended. The final day for participants to register for the contest is June 10.
