On Tuesday Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by DawgNationDaily Host and Georgia Bulldogs Football Insider Brandon Adams. Andy & Randy asked Adams about the Georgia offense and who the second best player on this year’s Bulldog offense will be behind tight end Brock Bowers.
“I think most people assume it’s either another tight end or it’s a running back because those are the position groups we talk about all the time,” Adams replied.
“I think Kirby is more confident in his wide receivers right now than maybe he would have said he was in the past. He talked one time last week about having three or four guys they like. I think the total number of players at that position, the program may still be a little thin in his mind, but in terms of being more ready to have more dynamic play from that receiver position, I think there is a chance that could be true here in 2022,” Adams added.
“The next guy beyond Bowers, if Bowers is your Michael Jordan so to speak, who is your Scottie Pippen? I think there is a chance it’s a wide receiver, maybe it’s an A.D. (Adonai) Mitchell. You saw him have the go-ahead touchdown in the National Championship game, maybe it’s a guy like that who takes a big step forward,” Adams continued.
