Dice run memorial takes place in Williamsburg

(WTAJ-TV) BLAIR Co. As the weather gets nicer, it’s time to put up those kickstands and start those motors for the SPC Chad Edmundson Memorial Dice Run and Remembrance Day in Williamsburg.

Riders will get to enjoyed the Dice Run and dinner as well as there being cash prizes for high/low roll. There was activities throughout the day, food vendors, craft and business vendors, small games of chance, music and more.

“Having all these folks come out today and support the organization the bike ride this is our 12th ride and each year I think we grow just a bit more”, Roy Edmundson, father of Chad Edmundson said.

“This is in honor of specialist Chad Edmundson, he was killed in Iraq May 27th 2009, we’re also here to support all of the gold Star families all of our fallen heroes,” Edmundson said.

Monty Mitchell is Chad’s cousin, “So ever since he passed away I like to be involved in his foundation because it helps so many people, the veterans, I like to be involved in helping”

All proceeds go to benefit local combat veterans and military families in need, “It’s great, it’s awesome, with a bunch of brothers who ride, a lot of people who served you know, much respect for them,” Isaiah Peffer, a participant said.
