Patrick Holland of Wild Rose American Legion Daniel Dopp Post 370 presented a check to Kent Barnard, Library Director of the Patterson Memorial Library in Wild Rose in the amount of $200 to help pay for the library’s new Community Calendar.  “The Legion values the library and all the things they do to help the community, this is our way of showing our support” noted Holland.  “The Patterson Memorial Library hosts a community calendar open to all groups and organizations in Waushara County as a service to residents and visitors alike,” stated Barnard.

Barnard continued, “To sign up for the Community Calendar, simply go to www.getlocalhop.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page, then fill out the organization and email information, LocalHop will send you a password and from there it’s easy to add your group or organization’s events.  We want to make it easier for everyone to see what great things are happening around our county, so we are providing a way for that to happen on our website,” Barnard noted, “People are used to the library being a source of information, this just makes it easier, just go to our website, www.wildroselibrary.org and click on Calendars on the navigation bar at the top.  We even have links to the Wild Rose School District calendars there.”

If you sign up for the Community Calendar it is best to give Barnard a heads up, as he approves all groups and organizations.  Just give a call to the Patterson Memorial Library at 920-622-3835.
