The Olympic star, 27, seemed in high spirits as he went sightseeing around Time Square with a friend.
Tom opted for a pair of cream trousers with the light orange shirt which had brighter flower detailing.

Last week Tom scooped the Outstanding Contribution to Sport award at the Sports Industry Awards at Evolution in London.
The athlete was delighted as he picked up his win, presented by fellow diver, Greg Louganis.
He showed off his sensational sense of style in a navy velvet suit with a black trimmed collar and a crisp white shirt layered underneath.
Speaking ahead of his win at the event, Tom gushed: 'The first time I was here I was 12-years-old and this little kid with braces, it's always good to come back.
'Sport has the power to bring everyone together, families and friends, to cheer on loved-ones or just people you support.
'I feel like celebrating sport is very British, people in Britain love sport and it is important to celebrate that.'
Hosted by Sky Sports presenter Laura Woods and TV personality Mark Durden-Smith, the ceremony worked to celebrate to achievements of industry professionals and athletes across 17 prestigious award categories.
