HWCSD announces finalists for 7-12 principal interviews

CRESCO - The Howard-Winneshiek Community School District’s Board of Education is pleased to announce that they have selected three candidates to interview for High School Principal. The candidates selected for interviews are: 
• Todd Coulter, Cedar Falls, Iowa – Mr. Coulter is currently the Assistant Principal and Activities Director of the Howard-Winneshiek Community School District. 
• Lisa Dursky, Andrew, Iowa – Ms. Dursky is serving as Middle School and High School ELL Instructor at Dubuque Community School District,  Assistant Professor of Education at Clarke University, and Online Instructor for VIPKID. 
• Sarah Tobiason, Decorah, Iowa – Ms. Tobiason is currently Elementary Principal, District Director of Special Education, and District Equity Coordinator at Decorah Community School District.
 Interviews are scheduled to be conducted on May 23, 2022. Numerous stakeholders will have the opportunity to meet the final candidates and submit input to the board about each of them. The board intends to make their selection by May 23, 2022.
Howard-Winneshiek Community School District retained the services of McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. to assist in conducting their search. The board selected three candidates as finalists.
