Donaldsonville man wanted for attempted second degree murder

ASCENSION PARISH, La (BRPROUD) — Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) is seeking the location of a man who was allegedly involved in a shooting incident on May 10 in Donaldsonville.

ASPO responded to a shooting incident near Oak Street and West Sixth Street in Donaldsonville. At the scene, deputies found a male subject sitting inside of a truck that had been struck multiple of times by gunfire.

According to APSO, the male victim said he was outside of the truck during the time of the shooting and was not hit by gunfire.

After investigating, deputies identified 37-year-old Toran Munson as the suspect.

Munson will face the charges of attempted second degree murder, illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentalities, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and aggravated damage of property.
