Enchanted opened in theaters in 2007. The film follows Giselle (Adams), a young woman from the animated fairy tale kingdom of Andalasia who is magically transformed into a live-action version of herself and transported to New York.

Disenchanted takes place 15 years after Enchanted and follows Giselle as she moves to the suburb of Monroeville with her husband, Robert (Patrick Dempsey), and their teenage daughter, Morgan.

In the photo, Giselle (Adams) is seen exchanging a look with her new adversary, Malvina Monroe (Rudolph).

Disenchanted is written and directed by Adam Shankman. The film also stars James Marsden, Idina Menzel, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays and Oscar Nunez.

In addition, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz will return as songwriters, with Menken to compose the score.

Disenchanted is slated for a Thanksgiving release on Disney+.
