Pharrell Williams and adidas have a fruitful friendship, having delivered many iconic sneakers over the last few years. Now, it’s the turn of the Humanrace Sičhona to really come into its own, and it aims to do so via the release of the “Core Black” colorway.

Following on from the friends-and-family green colorway, as well as the formative blue iteration and pairs that arrived in “Burgundy” and “Yellow,” the Sičhona is now set to take on its most subdued palette to date. A “Core Black” Primeknit textile upper is decorated with “Semi-Solar Pink” lettering reading “Humanrace” along the mid-panel, while “Vivid Green” is also said to be a part of the colorway — despite it making no visible appearance, perhaps other than on the seemingly light blue laces.

As the shoe is designed to be an extension of one’s body, it features adidas’ proprietary Futurenatural technology. This is made using direct-inject casting, a process which creates a fluid form by merging the sneaker’s Primeknit upper with its anatomically-molded TPU midsole.

Complementing the “Core Black” base is a silver-toned webbing tongue tag with adidas branding on it, as well as a “Humanrace” decorated outsole. Take a look at the adidas Humanrace Sičhona in “Core Black” above, and pick the sneaker up from adidas’ CONFIRMED app on May 21, where it will retail for £160 GBP/$180 USD.
